Charleston Harbor Subdivision Entrances

White Rock Lake Photos

Our White Rock Lake has a long history in the northland. Originally it was a rock quarry, then a private fishing lake, and became a retention area with the development of our subdivision in the 1988. Residents continue to use the walking trail and enjoy "catch and release" fishing opportunities at the lake.

Annual Spring Garage Sales

CHHA has an Annual Garage Sale Days ( Friday and Saturday ) the second week of June each year. Residents are encouraged to participate. The HOA provides signage at the 3 entrances and suggests that sellers advertise in the newspaper or on Craigslist.

CHHA Annual Spring And Fall Clean-Up Days

Charleston Harbor Homes Association sponsors annual Spring and Fall Clean Up Days within the subdivision. Neighbors are encouraged to utlize dumpsters provided by our HOA to discard unwanted household items, brush and plant trimmings and other landscape matter.

Summer 2013

Spring-Summer 2013 was a time when the City of Kansas City began patching and filling of cracks within our streets. A total resurfacing  our streets was not budgeted in 2013 and the city projects the project will be completed in 2015 - 2016. The developer forged an agreement with a realty firm to begin marketing the area for the building of villas within Plat 6.

N. Brighton Ave. Drainage Issue - Spring 2013

Heavy and frequent Spring rains saw an increase of silt and run-off coming into our lake from the adjacent neighborhood. The City of Kansas City was alerted about the drainage issues and the ditches along N. Brighton Ave. were re-worked.

February 21, 2013 Snowstorm

Have any thoughts on the snow removal within the streets of Charleston Harbor?

Also, the US Postal Service has informed neighbors that they will NOT deliver mail to any neighborhood collection boxes that do not have a path cleared to them, such as in some of the photos uploaded.

The Arbuckle Team - Realtors Representing Charleston Harbor Properties

As most residents know the developer of our subdivision made the decision a couple of months ago to change the realtor who had represented the area for the past several years and go with a new group...The Arbuckle Team of Keller Williams Realty.

Bill Arbuckle recently indicated that their team is in discussion with a couple of builders, hoping to have a resurgence of development within the subdivision soon.

The Arbuckle's have also created a web site for representing the Charleston Harbor area and it can be found by clicking the link:  The Arbuckle Team - Charleston Harbor
