TWO NEW HOMES NEARING COMPLETION IN CHARLESTON HARBOR
Homebuyers wanting to downsize to a quality villa in a secluded Northland community should visit the Villas of Charleston Harbor. This serene neighborhood may be off the beaten path, but it is minutes from excellent access to Interstates 29 and 35 as well as Missouri 152 for quick commutes to anywhere in the city.
The revitalized Charleston Harbor neighborhood is found at 71st Terrace and North Brighton in Kansas City, North, a couple of miles south of Missouri 152 and just north of Pleasant Valley Road, providing quick access to Interstates 29 and 35. It includes both single-family homes and stand-alone villa homes.
Hoffmann Custom Homes Inc. is putting the finishing touches on two new villas that provide all the features today’s homebuyers want at prices that are within most budgets, said Penny Arbuckle with the Arbuckle Team of Keller Williams Realty, who markets the community.
One of the homes is the Aspen, a true ranch plan at 7140 N. Quincy with a treed, private back yard. Walk in the front door and see the excellent quality offered for just $234,900. The focal point of the great room is a fireplace flanked by two large windows overlooking the treed yard.
The open design features an arched entry to the eat-in kitchen with an island, custom cabinets, granite counter tops and two large pantries. The eating area opens to a deck overlooking the back yard.
The master suite features a tiled bathroom with raised double vanities, a tiled shower with a seat and a large walk-in closet with shelving. Two more large bedrooms share a full hall bathroom.
The walkout basement could be finished for additional living space.
Next door at 7144 N. Quincy is the other home, The Sierra, a reverse 11/2-story plan. This plan offers the master suite on the main floor as well as an office that could be another bedroom. Again, the fireplace is the focal point of the great room and a large arched opening leads to the eat-in kitchen, which has an island, a built-in china cabinet, large pantry, designer cabinets and granite counter tops. The dining area opens to the deck.
The large master suite includes a bath with tiled shower, raised double vanities separated by a dressing table and a large walk-in closet.
A trip down the staircase, accented by iron spindles, reveals a family room that walks out to the patio, two additional bedrooms and a full bathroom. The unfinished space of the lower level has an ample storage area that is large enough to finish for an additional bedroom or game room. This home is priced at $247,900.
Both homes demonstrate the care that Hoffmann Custom Homes takes with construction, including extensive wood trim, knock-down ceilings and bullnose corners.
But not all of the features are found inside the homes. Charleston Harbor is situated on the rolling hills of Clay County, affording expansive views of mature trees and glimpses of the new Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Temple with its white spires dominating the skyline.
Charleston Harbor’s amenities include a swimming pool, walking trails and a lake. The community is in the North Kansas City School District and children attend Ravenwood Elementary, Maple Park Middle and Winnetonka High schools.
Opportunities to build a home in Charleston Harbor are running out with only 15 villa home sites and 15 single-family home sites remaining. For information call Penny Arbuckle of the Arbuckle Team of Kelly Williams Realty at 816-268-4440 or 816-728-8405 or visit pennyandbill.com.
